Sería en verdad hasta tedioso y sin sentido tener que escribir acerca de la gran banda "The Doors", me sorprendería sobremanera que alguien no tuviera la mas remota idea de quienes fueron. Y es que hasta los más reticentes al rock de los años sesenta, sabe o ha oído alguna canción de esta banda californiana.
En aquellos días mirabas el mapa del rock mundial y te dabas cuenta de que Inglaterra se estaba comiendo el pastel, y entonces podías darle algo de crédito a los Estados Unidos, gracias a la intensa y compleja música de "The Doors". Liderados por un Jim Morrison que dejaba al descubierto su formación poética en sus composiciones y que después sería recordado como uno de los mejores (en mi opinión el mejor) sobre el escenario, gracias a su capacidad interpretativa.
El teclado de Manzareck, la guitarra de Krieger y la batería de Densmore, son perfectos para la ambientación musical de las composiciones. Seguramente ellos sabían que contaban con uno de los mejores líderes de bandas de la historia.
